W2C is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) veterans’ organization headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, incorporated in 2010. In early 2010, W2C conducted over 4,000 interviews of returning OEF/OIF veterans and their families. Veteran experts from all branches of the military, Georgia State University, and the Georgia Tech Research Institute guided the initial development of the W2C mission, vision, and objectives. Kennesaw State University and University of Pittsburgh have also been instrumental in our development initiatives.
We design evidence-based programs that can be proven to sustain resiliency, provide healing and build critical relational skills. The results of the R&D are proven and specific evidence-based program designs (psycho-education, training and counseling) and curricula that hour-by-hour outcomes can be objectively measured.
The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is working with W2C to develop a Veterans Village at the YMCA's Camp High Harbour at Lake Allatoona. W2C is the exclusive clinical partner for the Village and is delivering programs at High Harbour.
